Ms. Prosser’s First Grade Students Visit the Lowell

 Photo0607[1].jpgPhoto0605[1].jpg

At the Culminating Brunch served at the Lowell Inn, Ms. Prosser’s First Grade Students, were able put their manners to good use in table etiquette and ordering in a fine dining environment. Live violin music was played during brunch while the children and chaperones enjoyed their meal. After eating, the group took a tour of the Lowell Inn and the new Banquet Center.

It was a success for everyone! The common theme of the brunch was that it was AWESOME! Hot chocolate with whip cream was a treat. The kids enjoyed the meal. I know we enjoyed having them. Here are a couple of the many wonderful thank you’s we received from the first grade class.

Dear Lowell Inn Staff,

Thank you for the awesome brunch. I loved the yummy pancakes and hot chocolate.

I liked going on the tour. You were very kind, helpful, and nice.

I used my manners and I had lots of fun.

Wedding Tips….

Take a deep breath and BREATHE…

Planning your wedding can be as fun or as stressful as you make it. Keep in mind these little tips to make everything just a little smoother…

1)      Make sure you provide your vendors with contact numbers. We need to know who to contact the day of your event, in case something goes rah-rah.  As your venue place, we like to have this information in case we need to coordinate decorating or delivery times.

2)      Always look at your vendor’s website.  Often it has all the information you need, and some that you may not have been told. You can find your event planning form, table layouts and menus. It always helps to double check between the printed information and the information your venue contact has given you.

The Lowell Inn will have these available on the Wedding Tab that will be available soon!!
